The ASTMA has initiated a HR and Best Practice Service to Members, to assist in improving management practices of Australian golf courses, Superintendents and Turf professionals.
The ASTMA Best Practice Service can provide Members with detailed Operations Manuals for their course and maintenance requirements, with the ultimate aim of improving environmental stewardship, course standards and increasing member/player satisfaction.
The service is designed around working with the Superintendent and management to analyse, prioritise and make recommendations in regards to maintenance practices to improve course quality with the resources available. The service will provide the club a positive direction in which to focus maintenance practices.
Through using the Best Practice service, coupled with an AGCSATech course consultancy review, Superintendents will be able to clearly demonstrate to Club Board and Management a detailed audit of the course maintenance, the allocation of man hours and budget strategy so that both the superintendent can provide benchmarking, and work with management to make informed and measured decisions that will impact on the course quality and condition.
Incldued in the Best Practice approach, ASTMA members can now download Management templates, Position descriptions as well as the Course Operations Induction Manual for golf club managers and committee members.
