Turf Services Supervisor Role:

An exciting new opportunity exists for an energetic, motivated individual to assist our expanding Turf Services Business. Based at Yatala, the successful candidate will support the Turf Services Manager at an operational level, through the ongoing development of our teams and the strong working relationships we have with our clients and industry partners.

Requirements of the Turf Services Supervisor:

• Significant exposure to Horticulture/Turf roles with associated qualifications (minimum Certificate in III Horticulture (Turf/Greenkeeping)
• Experience with warm season turf grass/weeds
• Experience in general maintenance and operation of tractors, aerators and general golf course turf equipment
• Extensive experience in operations and team management
• Effective leadership and people management skills
• High level of organisational skills and ability to multi task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Qualifications:

• MR Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Certificate in Project Management or equivalent

Accountabilities of the Turf Services Supervisor:

• Ensuring projects associated with multiple work crews are scheduled and resourced appropriately (including the procurement of all plant, materials and labour) and are delivered on time and budget
• Assist with meeting clients, preparing quotes and completing reports
• Prepare work orders, complete site audits and contribute to tenders
• Provide leadership, training and develop team capability
