Description

A rare opportunity exists to join RACV’s Cape Schanck Golf Course team as a Groundsperson on a casual basis working up to full time hours until February 2018.

This contemporary resort is set on one of the most striking coastal golf courses in Australia, offering expansive cliff-top views and is one of the top 100 courses in Australia. The main responsibility of this position will be maintaining the golf grounds and resort areas of the Cape Schanck Resort. This includes carrying out the day to day activities to ensure the appropriate quality and level of service to fellow colleagues, members and guests is maintained, and includes the following:

  • Assisting with Grounds presentation by mowing, course landscaping and other associated duties
  • Availability to work rostered weekends
  • Assisting in the resolution of potential OH&S issues
  • Working together with internal maintenance staff and external contractors to carry out maintenance tasks



To be successful for this opportunity you will have some experience in Turf Maintenance and possess a strong knowledge of OH&S systems, and an understanding of a variety of maintenance equipment and tasks. Experience in garden maintenance such as mowing, tree planting, pruning and landscaping would be advantageous.
