Suncorp Stadium is arguably Australia’s best rectangular sport and entertainment venue. The 52,500 seat venue offers a showcase for Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football and outdoor concerts. The design brings spectators close to the playing field, producing an atmosphere commensurate with the stadiums’ reputation as ‘the Cauldron’.

The Groundsperson is responsible for the preparation, maintenance and presentation of Suncorp Stadium grounds for all events.
• Assist in the preparation of fields of play for international and national events.
• Set up and breakdown of events.
• Mow fields of play and other grassed areas to standard.
• Maintain watering regimes under instruction.
• Apply herbicides and pesticides in accordance with MSDS.
• Identify risk and contribute to a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture.

• Proven experience in greenkeeping, horticulture or turf preparation and practices will be considered favourably.
• Recognised competency in a relevant filed (i.e. Certificate III in Horticulture or Greenkeeping).
