ASTMA Continues Leadership Development Support for Members

Thursday 03, Dec 2020

The Australian Sports Turf Managers Association is delighted to announce continued support and discounts offered to Association members for attending the 2021 Sports Turf Leadership Forums facilitated by the Toolbox Team.

Following a series of forums delivered in 2020, disrupted by COVID-19 in many States, the Toolbox Team have announced an expanded series of Sports Turf Leadership Forums across Australia and New Zealand.

The 2021 series of Sports Turf Leadership Forums will be held in Adelaide, Canberra, Launceston, Auckland, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.  Continuing its investment into the Professional Development of members, all members of the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association will be eligible for a 30% discount off registration for attending the Leadership Forums – saving members $200 off Standard rates.

In addition, the 2021 Sports Turf Leadership Forums is a certified event, and will accrue two (2) Continual Professional Development (CPD) points for members attending the seminars for members who are part of the Turf industry Sports Turf Manager Certification Program.

As a special offer for the 2021 Forums, the Toolbox Team and the ASTMA have aligned to support the industry through developing an offer for non-members to attend the Sports Turf Leadership Forum and join the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association as a Standard Member for a reduced rate.

The 2021 Sports Turf Leadership Forums facilitated by the Toolbox Team are practical and engaging one or two-day Leadership Forums throughout the sports turf management industry, in addition to representatives from the landscape, local government, open space maintenance and construction industries.

Using real industry examples, case studies and interactive team exercises the Forums are designed to improve communication and culture in your team and help develop your current and future leaders.

Delivering targeted sessions surrounding leadership, culture, communication, performance management and more, the Sports Turf Leadership Forums will give attendees actionable skills, modern leadership concepts and the opportunity to hear from some of the industry’s foremost leaders.
