Continuing it’s commitment to deliver professional development education and training to members, the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association is delighted to host the second seminar in the Professional Development education series – Presentation Skills
This half-day workshop, free to Australian Sports Turf Managers Association members, will cover topics including delivering effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences and contuning to support our aligned State Assocaitions, the seminar is also free to attend for all State Golf Course Superintendent Association members.
Whether it is to team members, Committees and Boards, peers or Club members, Presentations are a regular requirement of the role of a Turf Manager, and can be for some a challenging time. This session is designed to develop both skills and ability in designing and delivering presentations and is suitable for Turf Managers looking to refine their delivery, or Groundstaff looking to increase their confidence and capabilities for their future.
The session will work through skills covering a variety of areas such as the structure of presentations, the design of slides, developing confidence in presenting to audiences, the tone of voice and engaging audiences.

The sessions will be presented by Carmen Sederino, Director - Illuminated Story
Carmen Sederino is a business and marketing professional, with over two decades of experience across a corporate global enterprise. She is passionate about working with clients to ensure their message is heard and felt.
With over 18 years’ experience in leading, managing, advising and coaching teams across sales and marketing communications within the Reece Group business, Carmen has worked across Australia, throughout Asia and New Zealand with various business units, from retail sales teams with their B2C approach through to the senior leadership team in their B2B approach.
As well as personally delivering presentations she has provided mentorship, coaching and technical support for others to deliver their messages, ideas, and pitches with impact.
Carmen has crafted a methodology with supportive strategies and techniques that empower individuals she works with, from curating the content “from the page to the stage” she coaches and leads executives, teams, and individuals in their delivery techniques and builds their confidence and skills in a consultative approach.
The Presentation Skills education workshop will coach individuals to ensure their message is perfect for their teams, peers, Board, Committees - who will not only pay attention to the message but will drive actions.
