Australia's peak industry body for Sports Turf Management
Held annually, the Sports Turf Management Conference & Trade Exhibition is the largest event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, encompassing over 120 hours of education and showcasing the latest in turf management machinery, equipment, research, technology and products.
Each year, hundreds of golf course superintendents and their teams, sports turf management professionals, greenkeeping staff, curators and turf maintenance personnel attend the variety of turf management, environment and biodiversitry and management education seminars from leading Australian and international presenters, and visit the trade show to browse, question and hear from representatives across all elements of sports turf management.
In 2021, we once again bring the industry together after a tough two years that has seen droughts, bushfires and of course, COVID-19. The live and recorded presentations coupled with great Q & A sessions and the 3,500 sqm trade exhibiton will give many opportunities for learning and discussing all that is new and relevent to Sports Turf Management.
The 2021 Sports Turf Management Conference & Trade Exhibition has received endorsement as an Approved Business Event from AusTrade, resulting in the ability for Exhibitors, Sponsors and Trade Partners exhibiting (or sponsoring) at the 2021 Sports Turf Management Conference & Trade Exhibition to now apply for and receive government funding to cover up to 50% of costs for exhibiting, up to a maximum of $250,000. The 2021 Convention will be the largest and most diverse Sports Turf Management event staged in Australia in the last five years, bringing together delegates, stakeholders and businesses from all facets of the turf industry.

The 2021 Sports Turf Management Conference & Trade Exhibition has been endorsed as an Approved Business Event by Austrade (Australian Trade and Investment Commission). The result of this endorsement of the Associations’ Turf Convention is that partners and companies exhibiting at (or sponsoring) the 2021 Sports Turf Management Conference & Trade Exhibition are eligible to apply for and receive government funding to cover up to 50% of costs for exhibiting, up to a maximum of $250,000.
This endorsement of the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association and the 2021 Sports Turf Management Conference & Trade Exhibition is a significant win for trade partners and exhibitors assisting greatly with costs associated to attending the 2021 event, and assist companies to further develop markets, engage directly with stakeholders, buyers and decision makers and enhance the ability for exhibitors to open up new market opportunities.
