Greenkeeper - 2nd Year Apprentice

The Grange Golf Club is well renowned as one of South Australia’s premier sporting venues, boasting 2 internationally rated 18-hole championships golf courses and host of the 2016 & 2019 Women’s Australian Open’s.  An opportunity currently exists within the Club’s Course Maintenance team for a 2nd year apprentice greenkeeper.

This position is open for an energetic person currently studying or working within the sports turf industry who is willing to learn all aspects of the trade whilst continuing an Apprenticeship in Horticulture. To be successful in this role you will require a strong work ethic, and an ability to work well within a large team. The successful candidate will also display a commitment to advancing their skills with a view to progress within the Sports Turf Industry. An interest in golf will be favourable although not a requirement. The chosen individual will be self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and have an eye for detail.

Daily course maintenance practices including vegetation and gardening work will also be involved as well as rostered weekend overtime.
