AGCSA Video

Welcome to the AGCSA's new video streaming facility. This feature of the AGCSA website has been made possible through part-funding from Horticulture Australia Limited as part of Project No: TU08001. It is the AGCSA's aim with such a facility to enable wider dissemination of turf industry research and education and in the coming months the AGCSA will be adding and expanding on the information and videos contained on this page.

27th Australian Turfgrass Conference Webcasts
At the 2010 Australian Turfgrass Conference on the Gold Coast, the AGCSA videoed a total of 17 presentations and webcast them for conference delegates following the event. With the 27th Australian Turfgrass Conference and Trade Exhibition now just a few months away, the AGCSA has decided to release these webcasts for general viewing. By clicking on the link below you can view up to 12 hours worth of education sessions that were recorded on the Gold Coast. The webcasts require no special software downloads and includes video footage of the speakers as well as their PowerPoint presentation. You can view the presentations as many times as you like.

Les Burdett Roast - Part 3

alternate content

At the 26th Australian Turfgrass Conference on the Gold Coast, retiring Adelaide Oval curator Les Burdett was honoured with the AGCSA’s highest honour – the Distinguished Service Award, presented in partnership with Scotts Australia. At the end-of-conference dinner, an impromptu ‘roast’ was held for Les with good friends Richard Winter (Skilled Stadium) and John Lloyd (ex-Parliament House) delving into what makes one of Australia’s most acclaimed curators tick. Here the AGCSA presents highlights from the roast in four parts.
