AGCSA Video

Welcome to the AGCSA's new video streaming facility. This feature of the AGCSA website has been made possible through part-funding from Horticulture Australia Limited as part of Project No: TU08001. It is the AGCSA's aim with such a facility to enable wider dissemination of turf industry research and education and in the coming months the AGCSA will be adding and expanding on the information and videos contained on this page.

27th Australian Turfgrass Conference Webcasts
At the 2010 Australian Turfgrass Conference on the Gold Coast, the AGCSA videoed a total of 17 presentations and webcast them for conference delegates following the event. With the 27th Australian Turfgrass Conference and Trade Exhibition now just a few months away, the AGCSA has decided to release these webcasts for general viewing. By clicking on the link below you can view up to 12 hours worth of education sessions that were recorded on the Gold Coast. The webcasts require no special software downloads and includes video footage of the speakers as well as their PowerPoint presentation. You can view the presentations as many times as you like.

alternate content

In November 2009 Kingston Heath Golf Club hosted one of the biggest golf tournaments this country has seen. The 2009 JBWere Australian Masters will be remembered for the appearance of world number one Tiger Woods who drew record galleries of 107,000 throughout the tournament. In the lead to the event, which Woods went on to win by two shots, the Ten Network’s golf programme The Pro Shop interviewed Kingston Heath course superintendent Martin Greenwood on his preparations and course set up for the tournament.
