26th Australian Turfgrass Conference presentation webcasts now available
Starting yesterday the AGCSA has rolled out the series of webcasts recorded at the recent 26th Australian Turfgrass Conference. All fully registered and day delegates were sent an email late Thursday containing a link and user name and password details to gain access to a total of 17 presentations which were recorded during the Gold Coast event.
As mentioned in recent editions of The Cut, nearly 12 hours worth of sessions were videoed by Brisbane-based company TR Vidcom as part of this year’s conference. The webcasts require no special software downloads and are simply accessed through a user name and password protected link. Upon logging in, a screen showing all presentations appears from which you can choose which presentations to view. Each webcast includes video footage of the speakers well as their PowerPoint presentation. You can view the presentations as many times as you like. (Please note the webcasts do not include question time at the end of each presentation due to poor audio quality).
As part of the recordings, two presentations outlining HAL-funded turf research projects – Matt Roche’s ‘Final results of warm-season grass trials (HAL Project TU05001)’ and Andrew Peart’s ‘Evaluating new bentgrass cultivars (HAL Project TU08002) – are available for viewing regardless of whether you attended the conference or not. These two presentations can be accessed by clicking here.
For those AGCSA members and non-members who didn’t attend this year’s conference, you can purchase access to all webcasts or individual day sessions (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – see list below). As a special offer, if you purchase access to all webcasts the AGCSA will also include a copy of the 174-page 26th Australian Turfgrass Conference Proceedings. Prices are as follows:
