Greenkeeper: Sarina Golf Club

SARINA GOLF CLUB, situated in the picturesque town of Sarina in North Queensland, endeavours to be a first class course catering for local and visiting golfers in both competition and social golf.

This person will report to the Sarina Golf Club committee through the Greens' Director.

He/She

• will be responsible for the planning, and upkeep and maintenance of the16 hole golf course and surrounds
• will be responsible for co-ordination of a small paid and volunteer workforce
• will be responsible for maintenance of all equipment associated with the position

The following are requirements or highly desirable for the position:

• "c" class drivers licence
• demonstrated experience in the maintenance of small machinery
• qualifications as a Greens Keeper
• experience in the preparation and upkeep of greens
• experience in the preparation and management of a golf course
• a strong commitment to Workplace, Health and Safety requirements
• relevant machinery and poisons tickets
• an ability to work in a team

Salary package will be negotiated in relevance to skills the successful applicant brings.
