Last Friday marked the end of Craig New’s tenure as course superintendent at Lakelands Golf Club in Perth, WA. The long-term AGCSA and GCSAWA member (pictured) tendered his resignation in early March and the crew farewelled him last Friday after nearly 19 years’ service at the club.

Royal Perth Golf Club and its course superintendent Michael Dennis were the big winners at the recent WA Golf Industry Awards Dinner.

FRIDAY 19 OCTOBER 2012: You would be hard pressed to get a better day. All the ingredients were there – 25 degrees, sun blazing and one of Australia’s most prestigious golf courses looking its finest.
