Due to technical difficulties experienced by the AGCSA's website provider Aspedia, there has been a delay in sending out the Friday 14 June edition of The Cut enewsletter.

 

In the 24 May 2013 edition of The Cut we announced that the AGCSA was to hold a Board of Directors election after receiving three nominations for the two positions which have been declared vacant for the upcoming Annual General Meeting. 

 

AGCSA members Brett Hawkey (pictured right top), Andy Hugill (pictured right bottom) and Dean Lenertz will be winging their way to Merion Golf Club this week to volunteer for the US Open.

 

The AGCSA wishes to inform members that the 2012-2013 AGCSA Annual Report has been completed and is now available for viewing through the members’ area of the AGCSA website. The annual report, along with previous years’ reports and minutes from the 2012 AGM, can be found under the AGM tab.

 

The May-June 2013 edition of Australian Turfgrass Management Journal (Volume 15.3) has been delivered to AGCSA members and subscribers this past week.

 

The AGCSA is lending its support to the 2013 Campus on the Green conference to be staged in Jakarta, Indonesia from 3-5 November. The conference will be hosted by the Indonesian Golf Course Superintendents Association and precedes the 2013 Asia Pacific Golf Summit (5-7 Nov).

The 29th Australian Turfgrass Conference and Trade Exhibition is gearing up to be a fantastic event and the AGCSA wishes to thank all those that have already registered.

The 2013 AGCSA Annual General Meeting will be held at 3.15pm, Wednesday 26 June, 2013 during the 29th Australian Turfgrass Conference at Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast (PLEASE NOTE THE EARLIER START TIME THAN IN PREVIOUS YEARS).

Golf Australia has confirmed today (Thursday 28 March) that the 2013 Emirates Australian Open will be played from 28 November – 1 December at Royal Sydney Golf Club (pictured below).
