AGCSA Awards

Every year the AGCSA rewards excellence in the golf course maintenance industry at its awards ceremony held during the Australian Turfgrass Conference. The AGCSA Awards represent the ultimate in recognition for members of the industry and in turn provides the perfect opportunity for the industry to collectively honour its outstanding achievers. The awards are:

AGCSA Excellence in Golf Course Management Award

AGCSA Graduate of the Year Award

The 2008 AGCSA Awards were presented during the 24th Australian Turgfrass Conference in Melbourne on 24 July and the AGCSA would like to congratulate the following recipients:

2008 AGCSA Distinguished Service Award: Barry Cox (ex-Ocean Shores CC, NSW)

2008 Claude Crockford Environmental Award: Kenton Boyd (Magenta Shores GCC, NSW)

2008 AGCSA Excellence in Golf Course Management Award: Mark Jennings (Box Hill GC, VIC)

2008 AGCSA Graduate of the Year Award: Chris Thompson (Maclean GC, NSW)
